Boyds Bears of the Month for April 2008! Bright sunny skies and a gentle warm breeze...it's
what we'd waited for all winter long...Spring! And what a better way to welcome it then with
a picnic in the park. Waking up early, I hurried to the kitchen to make two of my famous turkey
sandwiches and homemade chocolate chip cookies. Seth's job was to bring along a blanket and of course,
lemonade. With all we needed in tow, we met at the corner and made our way, hand in hand, to the park
for our annual spring picnic. Two little bears in our matching gingham outfits. Although many years have
passed since that warm spring afternoon, and the times have certainly changed, I will always look back on
those days, with my very best friend, and give thanks for the wonderful childhood memories we created.
